Ah you know of it as well! Oh I’m late to the party… I’ve never heard of the book, but I found the show when it was just released on Stan in Australia four days ago… I watched the whole series in 24 hours lol… It was brilliant. Right up my alley. The cast was perfect. And it’s touches on all things good topic wise. There will be a season two because the ending was so good!

Seared and roasted pork tenderloin and baby Yukon golds with zucchini and sweet onion sauté. (Lots of black pepper, my lips are tingling!) Simple and tasty.

I will admit I have taco biases, but those look tasty! I might need to add fajitas to my meal plan next week.

I have a new strong love for broccoli lol. I’ve re fallen in love with it… And I’ve also rediscovered pepper, just regular black cracked pepper… I’ve never liked it, I’ve never used it really coz as a child I hated it because my mother put it on everything… Now I’m obsessed with it… This is Dinner, broccoli with olive oil and cracked pepper. ( there were also chicken strips but I ate them quick fast :joy: )

So we had a little pre Christmas party (already? I know!) with dear friends, two of them are visiting us from elsewhere from Finland and staying the night with me.

I made chilli-chocolate cake! So chilli as in the spice, not the chilli-beans stew thing. (Have to explain it, because one time one friend from the States was confused by it, when I made it).

The icing oozes over because I didn’t let it cool down enough. :see_no_evil: But it is such a good cake! :hot_pepper::chocolate_bar:

In Mexican cooking, chile (as we spell/say in Spanish) and chocolate go hand in hand. I love that pairing!

I made mushroom gravy to change up the leftover pork tenderloin from last night. Best I’ve made, if I do say so! At least, best this season

I’m the same! Love my food but I’d happily just eat a plate of simple broccoli. Or just loads of raw carrots. :joy: I think I may be a rabbit.

I got some bananas ripening. Can’t wait to try a banana peanut butter chocolate chip bread. There will be pics.
I’ve actually never tried a zucchini bread that I can remember. I’m going for the sweets first.

Prime grassfed colorado NY strip with scalloped potatoes and sauteed garlic spinach. I work with ranchers so I’m so blessed to have locally grown grassfed beef! I was vegetarian for 10 years before. Sorry vegans :grimacing::grimacing:

Ooooh yeah. Definitely share those pics! That sounds amazing.

You know, zucchini bread is pretty good since zucchini doesn’t have much flavor. It gives a moistness to the sweet bread that’s pretty nice. This time of year I get all kinds of people giving me zucchini, and so zucchini bread it is. Normally I bake little loaves and pass them around the neighborhood and to friends and family, but this year of course that’s not a thing, so the majority is going into the freezer. First time I’ve made banana zucchini bread though. It turned out really delicious.
