We’re getting together with some old friends for a BBQ tomorrow, thus the huge bowl of coslaw. My only regret is that I I should have picked up some purple cabbage to offset the green.

I just defrosted some SRF Ribeyes for dinner soon.
Ya. I thought of someone on here

I cannot complain at all by being thought of in connection with such deliciousness.

Snap! Just made a big tub of slaw aswell. Using your recipe over here @RosaCanDo . I’ve fully adopted it

That looks great! I love the thick strips of carrot and the contrast between the light green of the cabbage and the dark green of the green onions and… Is that flat parsley or cilantro? It looks like flat parsley, but I’ve been known to mix them up.

Nice! It’s definitely my favorite slaw.

It’s cilantro. I’ve made that mistake plenty of times. Even just a few weeks ago I bought a nice big bunch of what I thought was coriander, only to discovery it was parsley a couple of days later :man_facepalming:

That’s why I make myself triple check! Usually a quick sniff is all that’s necessary

Bangers and Mashed at The Brazen Head Irish Pub. Restaurants, bars, pubs are no trigger for me. I was more of a home alone or tailgate drinker.

Delicious. The gravy is on the side because kiddo wanted to try the potatoes.

And little guy wanted to try red velvet cupcakes so we had a go at making those with cream cheese frosting. They look a bit like muffins but he tried one and gave it a 12/12 score :joy:

Looks delicious! Some unknown force must really want coslaw to be manifested into the world.

I’m glad I’m not the only one to have done that. I think @RosaCanDo is definitely on to something with the sniff test. Nothing like looking forward to cilantro only to find I have parsley. :sob:

Spent two hours last night preparing the dough for these, four hours baking them all. Now they’re cooling for the glaze, but they looked so nice without it I wanted to post a preview.

They’re called Key Lime Fasties. The addition of a raspberry in the middle of half of them is my change to the recipe.

Will post pictures when they’re glazed.
