Same, used to consume them a lot in my youth. They were cheap and easy, and I didn’t know any better.
In 2013, my sisters and I flew across the country to St. Augustine Florida for a music festival. On our way to our hotel, we stopped at Walmart to get some food. I figured the best thing to buy was a 12 pack of ham & cheese hot pockets.
Hind sight being 20/20, 12 hot pockets was waaaay too much on account of us only being in our room to sleep.
I didn’t want them to go to waste, so I ate all of them in 2 sittings. Needless to say, I can relate to Jim Gagfighan.
Until the other day, I haven’t had a hot pocket since 2013.
… Hot pockets…
Lunch out. Duh

Thinly Sliced Prime Rib, Toasted Ciabatta Bun, Roasted Garlic Aioli, Crispy Onions and House-made Queso Sauce, Homemade Chips.
I got the Queso sauce on the side.
I didn’t want it swimming in queso.

Pan seared Atlantic Salmon.
From the Netherlands??
@ShadowFax
That’s what it said at my Whole Foods. I can’t believe it. In Flagstaff . Arizona? I’d think they could get something closer. It was farm raised unfortunately. Oh well. No wild available.
Served with a veggie stir fry.
It was great
Must of been the guy who cooked it
Hey sistah
Are they sneaks? I’m mean kicks
Nice to see ya. Coming up on that 2 real soon. Hope baby and fam are good. No great
On some nice French toile plates… unless they are an English version!
Very healthy looking meal! Must of been a very healthy looking guy who cooked it
I know for sure we don’t have farm raised or wild salmon in the Netherlands.
Most of the farm raised salmon is coming from Norway and Scotland.
Funny fact; did you know that farm raised salmon would be ‘white’ if they don’t add colorants to the food they give to the salmon. Wild Salmon gets there "'pink color from eating cray and shellfish.
I thought it was fishy. Pun intended
I googled it. And you guys are on the North Sea technically. And ya at our Whole Foods they put the warning or disclaimer about the coloring. I’ve never seen any salmon not pink. It’s so hard to find Wild Caught. Which I prefer to buy. I hear it’s better for the environment. I do try to do my part. But it’s so hard sometimes.
Veggie stir fry with bean sprouts are my fave. Not so much for the wife. She likes her starch.
Smoothie Time.
I haven’t had one of these since I quit no added sugar. It’s got one the highest natural sugar contents for my Daily Harvest smoothies.
Blueberry
Banana
Spinach
Almond
Caco
Maca.
32 grams natural sugar. No added.
We’ll See how I feel later.
oh haha my bad.
I try not the eat to much Farm raised fish, ones a month maybe. And I don’t eat the fish that’s on the ‘‘black list’’… …like tuna and wild salmon… but this is getting harder every year because the list keeps expanding
I struggle with this too , wanted to eat healthy, good quality meat from animals that had a good life… but is hard to find honest suppliers those days.
Maybe I start full veggie in a couple of months
First things first
