Cajun red beans and rice with andouille sausage!
Oh even bettah!!! Duh. I keep forgetting about your roots.
Licorice ice cream with dried raspberries, licorice pieces, and chopped chocolate.
Trying to make an ice cream version of the chocolate bar in the picture below. Had to be dried raspberries for texture and tartness. I couldn’t find licorice pieces that were exact, but I like the ones I used well enough.
I probably should have used Fazer chocolate, but the Theo allowed for the chocolate flavor better while cold.
I’m not a licorice fan but that was gorgeous!
Thank you! I’m sort of a licorice nut. I’ve found that, in general, people either love it or hate it. Rarely in between. Thus I found myself gifted with a gallon of unwanted home made licorice cream.
Fluffy clouds of goodness (scrambled eggs) with sauteed diced Jalapeno in Kerrygold butter topped with a Mexican blend of cheese accompanied with a side of bacon.
Did someone say scrambled eggs and bacon? Yes please!
As we say, antojitos…in English what you’re craving. My guy and I have been talking about getting Taco Bell for a long time, which is a big deal because we don’t eat fast food often. But he has history as a young man who was vegetarian and that was the only joint to get food he could eat. And I have history, too. We both kinda froze at the mic when we had to order and had to attest that neither of us was stoned, we were just old and figuring out our order. It was hilarious.
At the Meadow tonight. New menu.
@Callie99
I’m a sucker for a Veal Chop and they had one on special. Veal Oscar with Lobster.
Yummy! I just started some pinto beans in my instant pot. Here’s what my last batch looked like. I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to enjoy them.
This tasted great, not such a great pic… spinach, one big avocado which you cannot see, one big sweet potato, fresh pear, olive oil.
Bon appetit everyone
You changed your mind!! How was it?
The Veal Chop was great!! Cooked perfectly medium rare with a nice dirty grill flavor.
Lunch at Whisk and Whiskey
The PB&J
Ground chuck burger, Pear, creamy Brie, Jalapeño jam and Urfa aioli.
That’s a cool combo. I like cheeses with pepper jams. Was it good on a burger?!
It worked really well. You couldn’t see the pear. I always like when sweet meets spice. And that Urfa aioli has a real smoky kick.
Tonight pan seared salmon with my dad’s old recipe of sautéed cauliflower and purple onion in vermouth. I added the zucchini.
The salmon looks perfect
