I was wondering about that too. The menu said 10oz. But I’m pretty sure it was at least 12.

It was pretty good. The smaller apple pieces made it better. The first time I tried it the apple overtook the oats. I will add a bit more honey next time though. All in all it wasn’t disappointing

I’m wondering if the plate was placed to catch Minnie or if she positioned herself for the shot :joy::wink:

She was not cooperating for that one. But it came out pretty cute.
Of course.

Got my chippy for lunch.

Fish Fry Lunch Platter
Three pieces of cod, hand-dipped in our housemade Dos Equis beer batter and deep-fried to crispy perfection. Served with natural cut french fries and Southwest coleslaw.

Looks like we got a new fish n chips place.
And Kelly got the fried shrimp also good.

Are you taking your meat in too quickly? You gotta take it in nice and slow so that it’s not too much for you. :stuck_out_tongue:

Kitchen humor aside, honestly, and when do I not ever have an opinion? I’ve never noticed headaches from meat. I did keto before it was cool and for quite a long time, and I did get headaches from the carbohydrate withdrawals. I honestly don’t eat all that much anymore though, and when I do it’s in smaller portions at one time because my GI tract hates me.

I just had a thought though. Do you notice these headaches when you eat grass fed beef VS when you eat corn fed beef? Maybe try switching to strictly grass fed stuff for a while and see?

Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

Fettuccine Alfredo with fresh grated :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Parmesan
Of course :+1:

And I had some left over Caesar dressing so the Caesar was easy to have with it.

I’ll bake from time to time but only the hardest, fiddliest things (baklava or a pavlova or something else with 27 steps) so if it doesn’t turn out I can blame the recipe. I also love a chocolate chip banana bread loaf, easy and delicious for breakfast. Keep it up!!

Fettuccine Alfredo is one of my favorite pasta dishes. That looks great. The pepper on top to totally makes it.

I like cooking salmon in the skillet the best. Have cooked it for many years, covered in the oven, uncovered, and on the top of the stove. This is my favorite. Bon appetit everyone and hiiiiiiiii to @ Minnie! Congrats on you @Dazercat with your new ways w the parmesan!

More beautiful scrambled eggs with sauteed jalapenos and fresh cracked black pepper… A good way to start off Saturday morning before a meeting.

Tried roasting a whole chicken in the air fryer. Came out nice & tender.
Also added raw sauerkraut to my plate. Raw broccoli & ranch for hubby, as he’s not a fan of roasted like I am

Leftover Jimmy Dean pork sausage :joy:

I’ve always have to limit my intake of red meat, especially steak and roast. They trigger the migraines. Over years of trial and error, I’ve learned the foods that set off a headache. I can’t have goat cheese, certain chocolates, some aged cheeses, and absolutely no processed meats. @RosaCanDo
