Went to lunch with a friend at one of my favorite local places, Copper Kettle.
Grilled tilapia tacos. First time trying them and they were really good! The salsa was crap, good spice but too much like tomato sauce. (picky picky!)
Salad with leftover ahi tuna. Just heated it up on the skillet but kept it rare in the middle still. So yummy.
@ELY83 I finally tried the sweet potato “toasts,” oh my goodness! So good. It’s definitely going on the rotation. I topped mine with refried black beans (thinned and seasoned with homemade salsa verde and cumin), a scrambled egg, avocado and cilantro. Homemade hot sauce.
Oooo that looks like the perfect breakfast! I can’t currently have the beans with this elimination diet, but maybe I’ll try that this weekend with bacon or chorizo instead!
Caprese sandwiches for dinner. Will follow up with some cheese and eggs. Still the best bread in the world, sold in the bakery just 5 minutes walk from my front door .
I miss my bakery in Santa Monica. 🥹
