Definitely the meds will help! As will Mediterranean Diet style eating pattern. Lots of colourful fruits/veg, fatty fish (salmon, trout, sardines etc), legumes/lentils, healthy fats like avocado, nuts/seeds etc. Soluble fibre such as oats, oat bran, barley … or if he’s not keen on some fibre foods, psyllium husk can potentially lower cholesterol, and plant sterol supplements can lower LDL (bad cholesterol) by 6-12%. A huge part of our cholesterol levels are based on factors we can’t control, but diet/exercise definitely can help too.

Damn you’re good! It was two coffees and an order of the gingerbread pancakes… Apparently they were amazing. It actually made me hungry for pancakes, which I can’t have right now… So I was looking for a recipe and found some plantain pancakes, but I might be giving a try to this weekend. If I do I’ll be sure to post pics!
Gingerbread Banana are/were my favorite. I got so burned out on them after all those years. I don’t know a y place that makes gingerbread pancakes. They are heavenly.
