Freezing spinach works well too. I love finding a discount bunch of spinach. I’ve frozen whole; also blended with a touch of water into ice cubes for smoothies.
I added a small slice of chicken breast to my salad sandwich muenster cheese, guacamole, garden tomato. I might be having tomatoes at every meal and I’m not sorry!
Whole grain English muffin, fried egg, aged white cheddar, Danish cream cheese and fresh sliced garden tomato
Fun with sweet corn! Gotta get to the farm market tomorrow and get a couple more dozen, at least! I let these ears sit around a bit so they’re not as fresh but still good quality. Planning to make a Mexican style corn chowder with some of it And also make corn stock with the cleaned cobs.
Ooooo that’s a great idea! I’m going have to do this with the surplus of amaranth leaves growing in my garden right now.
How!?! How does your food look fancy even just while cooking? I need to take a class
Leftover bells and onions and some grated sharp chaddah in a 2 egg omelette.
Trying to downsize.
I usually use 3 eggs.
More of the Morning Farms veggies breakfast patty.
And of course my muffy and organic peanut butter.
I wasnt going for the best presentation award
It was so flavoured, since discovering rich demi glace some of my dinners have that extra va va boom flavour (still not sure if I use it properly but it makes sauces so yummy)
Shepards pie fyi the bowl is he size of a plate, I needed that.
Looks delicious. I’m always trying to duplicate a proper British shepherds or cottage pie. But I can’t duplicate the taste. Mine comes out great! American style. But it just doesn’t have that British flavour I’m chasing. I love the “va va boom,” spice. I’ll have to try that
Ooo! I just found a “cheat” version of demi-glacé and I can’t wait to try it out! Your shepherds pie looks to die for.
This is my cheat version, it does hav such great flavour to casseroles and sauces
It’s looks like gravy granules.
I might have to try this too! Can never go wrong with a Spruce Eats recipe.
I can imagine it will be extra tasty home made !!
ha! Just natural lighting and herbs.
(There’s a good chance I also have a bfa in photography that is wasted most days )
Right!? I love their stuff. It’s a go-to.
That looks pretty handy!
This was a botched attempt at crispy zucchini fritters
I don’t think I’ve ever made them but had a zucchini to use up. I quickly googled various recipes to get ideas for ingredients but I should have just followed a recipe. Or at least amounts lol
Zucchini, egg, shredded cheese, a touch of grated onion, spices, and expired almond flour
High fat sour cream seasoned with a garlicky dill
Still tastes good!
Oh my!
