Ughhhh that looks so good. I forgot to put sweet potato on my shopping list last time so it on there now!
Thank youuuuu
I created the recipe by myself… Just the dough is a standard recipe for quiche or tarte.
Shipping is not planned yet
But my fridge is rich now
That looks delicious Dana. I can understand very well not being the best chef, nor am I. I can make mean salads and sandwhiches though!!!
Haha me too!!
Added some broccoli and beets fresh from the garden to today’s tofu scramble. Little half Ezekiel muffin on the side.
Big salad night. Rotisserie chicken for protein in addition to hard boiled eggs and cheese. We each dressed our own salads. I always give my guy the pretty chicken, lol. Garden tomatoes too!
Making my taco seasoning. My goal is by next growing season…grow what I need and produce it as much as I can from my garden. What I can’t grow…like cinnamon, source from organic sources. In the meantime this will do, far less chemicals and preservatives than packets of crap from the store…and tastes so much better!
I love this, good for you! I strive to do what I can similarly, though my operation is a much smaller scale. I am pretty pleased to not have had to buy cayenne powder or serrano chiles for a couple years! I’m about to attempt to make tomato powder from the skins to enhance soups, stews, chili, etc. after reading about it recently.
I saw something about tomato powder. I was thinking about doing that…
Hey Jess,
Do you have a recipe for your Orange Marmalade or don’t you need one anymore?
I would be glad if you could send it to me?
Knowing myself I probably made some modifications but I went off of this Spruce Eats recipe. They’re my default for most recipes and inspiration of things I make.
So many small plums from our tree! Debated various recipes but might just keep to eat whole. Want to keep those nutrient-rich skins
Beauties!!!
Put together some fresh salsa this morning. I have never posted here, but have viewed many pictures of everyones food. Everything looks so good!
Yummm! Looks so fresh!
Lovely chunky goodness! Thanks for joining in!
Breaded chicken stuffed with broccoli & cheese, Lundberg wild rice blend, and local roasted green beans with my garden tomatoes with avocado oil & fresh garlic. Tomatoes were tart! I didn’t taste them before roasting with beans but it was a nice pop of flavour. First time roasting beans!
It’s mine & hubby’s ten year anniversary but he’s booked plans & is busy so no fancy meal as it was just little guy & me for supper
I did make a cake for the occasion so stay tuned for cake pic
