Cucamelons
[/quote]. ???
Never heard of it.

What is a cucamelon? According to the Huffington Post, the cucamelon is a fruit that looks like a tiny watermelon but tastes more like a lime-dipped cucumber . It’s also known as Mexican sour gherkin, Mexican miniature watermelon, Mexican sour cucumber and mouse melon.

Love learning about different foods.
Thank you google.
It all looks great!

I had not heard of them either till a friend of mine sent me some seeds! They really do look like tiny watermelons and lime-dipped cucumber is very accurate on the flavor. Wish i would have taken photos of the plant… beautiful delicate vine!

Steak, scallops, brussel sprouts with bacon, and a salad gathered from various plants outside.

The brussel sprouts and bacon were tossed with bourbon maple syrup and dijon mustard. Tried to recreate something we had at a local restaurant and it turned out pretty good!

Thank you so much! I really dont know how to cook haha. I can follow a recipe though  I am a pretty decent baker and that requires following instructions exactly. Just tried to follow the recipe as if I was baking. My husband tho helped to make sure it was all cooked thru and not over cooked. So i guess I had some help

Ive even baked savory cupcakes withh candied maple bacon as a garnish. Yumm… maple is definitly a canadian thing!
