I dont know how this reflects my mood apart from the fact im hungry. I spent too much time thinking about the face and forgot to put strawberries kiwi and banana in.

I was fearing the worst looking at the face, well really the cauliflower hair was making me cringe. But… this was bloody fantastic. One of the best . Im wearing a big banana smile now and ready to smash through today.

I think it’s a texture thing. I was never a bean person until I started working at The Mag in my 40’s. I hated beans!! No one I knew ate rice and beans or bean tacos up in the sticks of New England. I didn’t even know what a fucken taco was growing up. Good thing I got to Texas in a hurry.
My favorite taco at the mag was potatoes, bacon, spinach, and pico and Jack cheesed. It was called the garden taco but it had pig in it. And it was awesome. And I still hate Boston Baked Beans. So gross

Can be topped also vegan with tofu or vegetarian with feta or something!
The basis is onion, garlic, ginger, chili sautéed in a little butter, cumin and curry powder sautéed few seconds, half a cauliflower and a sweet potato in pieces…
Hot water and vegetable broth… Cook 20 minutes and blend. Pinch of salt… Ready
Pot roast in the crock pot today and my husband is vegetarian. The butcher gave me 3 1/2 lbs when I asked for a small roast. Thankfully I love leftovers.
Baked Halibut with fresh breadcrumbs and Parmesan and butter of course. Grilled corn and butternut squash roasted with honey and that European butter I bought at the farmers market. Got the halibut from the farmers market too. Frozen but Line caught from Alaska.
