Come on in! I was on them for years and I know in 2 weeks time I will be full of life and ready for anything. Im preparing for flu season :rofl: There are 1000s of combinations. Ive just got the ā€˜500+ healthy smoothies app’ but mainly use whats at hand. :slightly_smiling_face::+1:

I think it’s a texture thing. I was never a bean person until I started working at The Mag in my 40’s. I hated beans!! No one I knew ate rice and beans or bean tacos up in the sticks of New England. I didn’t even know what a fucken taco was growing up. Good thing I got to Texas in a hurry.
My favorite taco at the mag was potatoes, bacon, spinach, and pico and Jack cheesed. It was called the garden taco but it had pig in it. And it was awesome. And I still hate Boston Baked Beans. So gross :face_vomiting:

I actually really get it. My kid didn’t eat beans of any kind until around 15 years old, ALL about the texture.

I grew up in L.A. and then moved to San Diego, then to TX, so…ya know.

It was a very easy recipe from my head :panda_face::yum::sunglasses:

Can be topped also vegan with tofu or vegetarian with feta or something! :revolving_hearts:

The basis is onion, garlic, ginger, chili sautĆ©ed in a little butter, cumin and curry powder sautĆ©ed few seconds, half a cauliflower and a sweet potato in pieces…
Hot water and vegetable broth… Cook 20 minutes and blend. Pinch of salt… Ready :pray:t2:

I have leftovers in the freezer… Rich girl :grin::yum:

Pot roast in the crock pot today and my husband is vegetarian. The butcher gave me 3 1/2 lbs when I asked for a small roast. Thankfully I love leftovers.

Baked Halibut with fresh breadcrumbs and Parmesan and butter of course. Grilled corn and butternut squash roasted with honey and that European butter I bought at the farmers market. Got the halibut from the farmers market too. Frozen but Line caught from Alaska.

I am mostly vegetarian … lately eating some chicken to get quick protein, frozen dinner because then no bloody chicken in my kitchen.
Healthy Choice Simply Delicious Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo, with the mango salsa, salad on top of it…

Thank you. This is a must make for me. But…I cant make it as my freezer is packed full of soups and meals what ive already made lasagne, moussaka and left over smoothie fruit :rofl:. Will get eating those first.
