Well this is fun :grimacing: Not.
Instead of spinach artichoke dip and chips or Buffalo wings.

Red Pepper Hummus with toasted Pita and Mixed Fresh Vegetables.
Which I actually like.

GREEK salad
Romaine topped with Cherry Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, Red Onions, Pepperoncini, and Feta served with our House Italian Dressing

I’m grateful there’s plenty of places for good salads.

Oooh is that romaine? Huge shortage here. And if you find it, it’s triple the cost. Been pulled from most restaurants’ menus. But not as awful as our children’s pain/fever med shortage

Leftover enchilada casserole that developed serious spice as it sat, so it requires rice and lots of sour cream. I like spicy but not that level!

That is such a shame, i still panick about stuff not being in the shops from the first lockdown it triggered me to be one of thos preppers (i was a bit before but now i am terrible with it and its out of fear). And then the prices of stuff i worry so much its going to keep going up.

Not gonna lie I buy them for my kids but I eat most of them. My favorite is to pour honey over them. I did notice there’s only 9’on the plate! U tested 1 to make sure they were crispy enough :joy:

Huge shortages of infant & children’s acetaminophen and ibuprofen in many parts of Canada. Zero to by found at any pharmacies or offices nearby. I’m thankful I had some slightly expired kids Advil for my boy past few days for his fever. Between national shortages, then people hoarding/stocking up once they heard about that. Parents searching local buy & sells on social media in hopes of obtaining a few for their sick littles. Sad & scary, as we’re in a huge seasonal influx of RSV, flu/cold and Covid. Apparently shipments/imports coming from other areas soon, but they’ve been saying that for a while. . Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the kind offer! But if need, I’ll get my FIL to send as he’s in the States for the winter. I appreciate that!

Needed to use some withering veg, so I sautéed mushrooms, spinach and grape tomatoes. Then added to one egg scrambled for an Asiago bagel sandwich with Muenster.

I was hoping it would be better :joy: Maybe my taste buds are off with whatever virus I’ve got brewing. The bok choy was a bit bitter I think; they didn’t have any baby, only regular.
But still made me cozy so it did the trick
