Thought weā€™d try Zinburger.

I went with the
ALL-AMERICAN VEGGIE BURGER Crispy House Made Black bean Patty with American Cheese, Lettuce, Pickles, Onions & 1000 Island.
Hold the cheese :grimacing:
Hold the 1000 island.
Added mustard.
It was good.
A definite no to the Double Truffle Fries with truffle oil and truffle aioli :grimacing::grimacing::grimacing: oh they sounded soooo good :relieved:

My husband is the chef and i his sous-chef :yum:

We got another GIANT jar of kimchi, so we have kimchi to eat while our homemade one is fermenting of course! Havenā€™t made it yet (thats the goal this weekend) but apparently we arenā€™t aloud to not have it in the house

Side note: I no longer post any food on Instagram i come straight here! I love that. I hardly post anything anywhere else honestly. Never posted much anyway because social media is so fake. This place has a purpose

Ended up in Minneapolis for the evening and went out to The Prodigal for fish & chips which I forgot to grab a photo of. Got a photo of my mocktail and appetizers though. Spinach artichoke dip & fried pickles.

Are you dieting @Dazercat? Iā€™ve noticed your healthier trend lately and I still drool over your food pics. Feel free to tell me to shove off if this is none of my business. :joy:

Shove off :rofl::rofl::rofl:
My recent blood work came back borderline high cholesterol. Iā€™m hoping to do better with my diet and not have to take drugs. I really donā€™t want to take any cholesterol lowering drugs that my doc has recommended. I appreciate your concern. :pray:t2::heart:
If I can quit drinking. I can quit eating fried food and all that slathering melty butter and cheese :scream:
Weā€™ll see what happens.

What is the difference between porridge, oatmeal and overnight oats? I could google it, but I prefer explanations from you all.

Hi Eric,

I am sorry for you that your cholesterol is in trouble. Excited to c your meals, whether the healthier versions or a treat from time to time. For me it sometimes helps to create a healthier version of a meal I am craving, to still have the taste. You will make it :pray:t2:

I will do some food prep, as I have to manage eating dinner in correspondence with my late night sport activities.

I researched a bit about it :innocent: and not eating is not a good choice.

I had to change my diet too thanks to a gastritis I had.
BEST DECISION EVER!
Sure youā€™ll miss your fav food for some weeks, Iā€™m not gonna lie. But youā€™ll get there :muscle:

To be honest, I donā€™t know of a difference other than the way they are prepared. Overnight oats are raw oats mixed with desired ingredients and liquid, and left in the fridge overnight to soak and soften. I donā€™t like the texture for some reason. I make baked oats, which is pretty much the same recipe with the addition of eggs and baking powder, and you bake until itā€™s done ( think of a cake). I like this texture much better.
Porridgeā€¦ā€¦I have no idea :joy:

Sprouted grain flat bagel from Panera with a light herbed cheese spread, avocado, red onion, red bell pepper, and jammy steamed egg with side of baby spinach. Drizzle of Cholula hot sauce. Good morning on this snowy Saturday in Iowa!

To save energy I roasted some more pumkin and also zucchini and aubergine, to have it cold as eg late night after workout snack next days.

No picture necause it looks kinda boring, BUT YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS:
Put butter in a hot pan, only a little bit.
Put a slice of bread into the pan and roast it for 2-3 minutes on each side.
I ate it with just a little bit of almond butter and chocolate spread.
The smell and the taste!
