It’s still possible to do it this year. Only takes 25 min or so
Picnic food. Tomatoes, red and white quinoa, herbs and spices, blue cheese
Spinach salad with mandarins, deviled eggs with blue cheese
Saved up enough kitchen veg scraps for stock and had a couple rotisserie chickens picked over, plus the roasted Cornish game hens from Thanksgiving. Giant pot of stock is on!
Last of the baked Brie (past it’s prime but still yummy) and fruit for breakfast to celebrate my tummy feeling better! Hope I don’t wreck it…
Such a diverse culinary history - I’ve heard of a few dishes, had a very good sancocho before, but mostly just had carne a la parilla in Argentina. So much beef and such good quality. Would love to explore more.
Look at that color And it tastes like heaven! I think I ended up with somewhere around 6 quarts, yay!
I love the smell of homemade broths especially in winter.
And after a hard day’s work, here is the comfort! Chicken and rice soup. With a lemon squeezed in, my favorite.
Looks like mom use to make
Well not my mom. But you know what I mean.
My mom couldn’t boil water
Looks great
Hey, thanks! That’s the “idea” of it, for sure.
We got a cold rainy snowy mix going on today and that would be perfect for this weather.
