The best food!!
Give us a hint will ya?
Its typical Norwegian christmas dinner. Its ribs, traditional prepared at least 3 days before cooking it. Tastes amazing! The rind(?) is so crispy! It have to be crispy to be accepted at christmas, at least what my kids say. They all wait for the crispy rind
Sounds scrumptious!
I didnât see the bones and thought maybe it was a brownie honey baklava kind of New Years dessert.
Enjoy. Happy NY
Edit @Wakikki
Did you get your fill of Lutefisk for the Holidays?
I dont like lutefisk Have you ever tried it?
Does anyone really like lukefisk?
I was going to give you a when I wrote that but I didnât want to insult your traditions.
One of my best friends from Minnesota has deep family Scandinavian roots and he was tortured with the fish lye when he was young. I thought he was pulling my leg
Edit @Wakikki No. Never tried it.
Hahaha, good question. But yes, some do like it But I like the side bacon!
I cant stand it, no lutefisk for me Even the smell gives me the chills
If you ever try, I would love to hear what you think
I come from a family that has Scandinavian heritageâŚi have had it, and have yet to understand what i did to deseve the punishment of eating it.
But have you ever tried the rib we make for christmas. Its very yummy
Chicken tacos to start the year off. And refried beans.
Now thatâs a side of avocado @RosaCanDo
Growing up a yank and not knowing anything or even seeing my first avocado until my 20âs when I moved to Texas. Itâs taken me a long time to get use to them. I still have to ask for them on the side. Kinda of a texture thing. And I just canât deal with any brown. Now I have no idea why Iâm telling you all this TMI. But Iâll close out by wishing you, and your Eric, a Happy New Year. Canât wait to see whatâs cooking.
I have just decided that tomorrow im going to start putting some effort into eating alot more healthily choosing to fill my body with goodness i just looked in my fridge and i still have alot of fresh veg left over from christmasâŚswede, carrots, cabbage, spring onion, potatoes, parsnipsâŚstill fresh but need using up so im going to make a nice healthy soup
Speaking of avocados, I bought these, as they were $1.99 and I love a good deal (likely my first warning, that theyâre massive discounted lol). I was going to try them in the air fryer. Later after I bought them, I googled some reviews. I included one Now Iâm curious but nervous to try them!
Lmao well now after reading the review you have to try em and give us your honest opinion @Salty
