Sounds scrumptious!
I didn’t see the bones and thought maybe it was a brownie honey baklava kind of New Years dessert.
Enjoy. Happy NY :partying_face:

Edit @Wakikki
Did you get your fill of Lutefisk for the Holidays?

I was going to give you a :nauseated_face::face_vomiting: when I wrote that but I didn’t want to insult your traditions.

One of my best friends from Minnesota has deep family Scandinavian roots and he was tortured with the fish lye when he was young. I thought he was pulling my leg :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Edit @Wakikki No. Never tried it.

Hahaha, good question. But yes, some do like it :see_no_evil: But I like the side bacon!

I cant stand it, no lutefisk for me :rofl: Even the smell gives me the chills :sweat_smile:
If you ever try, I would love to hear what you think :see_no_evil:

But have you ever tried the rib we make for christmas. Its very yummy :yum:

Chicken tacos to start the year off. And refried beans.

Now that’s a side of avocado @RosaCanDo
Growing up a yank and not knowing anything or even seeing my first avocado until my 20’s :scream: when I moved to Texas. It’s taken me a long time to get use to them. I still have to ask for them on the side. Kinda of a texture thing. And I just can’t deal with any brown. Now I have no idea why I’m telling you all this TMI. But I’ll close out by wishing you, and your Eric, a Happy New Year. Can’t wait to see what’s cooking.
:heart::pray:

Speaking of avocados, I bought these, as they were $1.99 and I love a good deal (likely my first warning, that they’re massive discounted lol). I was going to try them in the air fryer. Later after I bought them, I googled some reviews. I included one :joy: Now I’m curious but nervous to try them!

Lmao well now after reading the review you have to try em and give us your honest opinion @Salty

So much for starting the year off healthy…my fella had a craving for a burger so we went out. I got this amazing Cuban sandwich with the required ham and their smoked brisket and it was so good. big slices of dill pickle and more on the side. Too many fries for me but I did bring a few home with half the sandwich. I promised Eric I’d cook breakfast tomorrow and I think they’ll work like hash browns.

That is a good looking avocado side! I do understand the texture issues and have some of my own with other foods. I think I had a serious benefit growing up visiting family in Mexico and eating some amazing avocados and just had to deal with what we could get here. Still worth it to me! It frightens me when I hear news stories that say avocados will not be as readily available due to climate change…scary!
