Congratulations @Dazercat and family! Welcome to the world your Grandson! So happy for all of you!
Thanks Alisa. That’s a beautiful looking cake.
I love it so far! I didn’t know toast could be done better, haha! Especially bagels. I’m excited to try other things in it.
I am risking my life, or my already messed up stomach. I left that chicken out overnight on the counter. I zapped it for 4 minutes, just for caution.
I think some of my stomach issues may be eating too fast. I eat alone most of the time. I think I have gone back to Air Force muscle memory, “Get it down and get on with the day.”
Still avoiding dairy for the time being. I probably need to try a total elimination diet and some mindful eating. I am sick of having a stomach ache after eating. In case you all didn’t know, I love to eat, especially when I am sober.
Let us know you’re still with us tomorrow, please. That is some brave eating! And I usually am not too squeamish but DANG!
@Thirdmonkey does your house look like this? Came up on my FB feed re: Iowa history, circa 1950s
Not quite yet. Next year possibly. Right now we have 3 garden plots planned. Each 15 foot by 15 foot. We will probably expand that, and add on an herb garden and add on a strawberry patch.
So exciting! We decided to go ahead and put a plot in the ground this year, too.
I’m curious if my nanny canned foods, especially for winter, having 14 kids. I wish mum was here to ask! I’ll have to check with my aunt. I just know there was A LOT of bread made, pistoles in storage that the grew/root veg etc
I haven’t but I’m going to now! I love cooking shows. I saw it last night and was wondering if it was any good
A little loved one’s very first take from home lunch/lunch box. Preschool.
