Anyone having trouble finding decent produce? It took me going to 3 stores to find tomatoea for dinner…and the bulk of the tomatoes were horrible?
I had to have a little chuckle with a recent outing to a chain restaurant with kiddo. Look at the colourful tasty pasta (chicken mushroom fettuccine with Alfredo sauce).
Here’s two of their photos:
And here was my dish I expected sliced chicken breast but it was tiny squishy cubes of lukewarm chicken and sauce. Was worth a try!
I still ate it though I think I had flashbacks to the time mum bought “I feel like chicken tonight” sauce from the early 90s Just that kinda processed sauce flavour
Omg yes! I was showing Eric these commercials not too long ago!
That bacon looks amazing…please describe how it turned out! Flavor?
I did not skip the cheese tonight
I’ve been skipping the cheese too. Those cheese dairy calories and cholesterol points add up quickly. I don’t miss them.
Back to work over here.
Made my daughter’s fave fettuccine Alfredo.
And the timing was perfect. She got to eat it hot.
I’m still on a diet and will be much longer.
Thanks for posting these delicious meals, you monsters!
I’ve been wanting to try making bacon too. I live in apple territory so apple wood smoke would be my first choice. Enjoy!
Yum!!! I’d devour that (edit: minus the pepper for me lol)
I’m so glad your daughter got a hot meal. I don’t think I had one for kiddo’s first year of life Good job
Oven baked cod with butter & herbed garlic sea salt (kept it fairly plain for kiddo), wild rice blend, roasted broccoli and sautéed tomatoes
Made it @EarnIt
Fish Chowdah at Dukes
grilled, flour tortillas, tomatillo sauce, cabbage, pico de gallo, queso fresco, tortilla chips
I think it was Mahi Mahi Salty.
And we saw 3 dolphins heading to Santa Monica. You can barely see one of them here.
I’ve never had this! Want to try one day.
Hmm I have a bit of leftover cod. Perhaps I’ll try making a fish taco tomorrow! Yours looks tasty
BOGO chuck roast, baked with cherry tomatoes, petite red potatoes, carrots and onion. Seasoning was a little too spicy for the kids ( they still liked it, but said ) it was super good to me
I cut the meat into chunks to make it go further and be sure everyone had some
That looks sooo good!
It was so good! And minimal effort i let my oven do all the work
This is my first time cooking beef stirfry from scratch! I cut everything up myself lol Made the marinade and sauce. Cooked it myself even (was trying to pass off the cooking to my hubby, but he told me id never learn that way… which is true). It had flank steak, broccoli, mushrooms, snow peas, red, yellow, and green pepper in it, all on a bed of rice.
Looks delicious. Howd it taste?
