Basmati rice and lentils, cauliflower, fenugreek and potatoes with a side of beets
Omg…that looks so decadent so yummy! Did it come with a nice cappuccino?
Stay stay, pull up a chair and get your slippers under the table! Looks so nice. I do love a good pie also.
Trying to lay off the cappuccino tonight. No nap. No afternoon coffee. Well except I tried making my own Americano.
I shot of espresso from espresso machine.
And 1 shot just steamed water. No pod.
It was pretty good.
I think that’s how you make an Americano. Hopefully sleep earlier tonight. Big day tomorrow.
Nicely done on making your own
Do hope you do get some sleep at a decent hour tonight
Delicious ramen with porkbelly and shrimp

Avocado, egg, olive oil.
For anyone interested, the avocado was in the fridge at least a month.
Bon appetit everyone
Food is life.
I just discovered fenugreek this year and its delicious. I have been trying to perfect Methi Malai Matar, so far with little success. It just gives me an excuse to frequent my local place.
Yours looks great!
Thanks Emilie
I do enjoy fenugreek…never thought of making a malai dish with it .
Fenugreek is the best, it’s one of my favourite choice of dishes; methi chicken. It’s so good mixed with mustard, yoghurt, garlic and turmeric to marinade meat, fish or tofu.
Busy cooking weekend, the freezer has been blessed with some batch cooking:
Jerusalem artichoke and cauliflower soup
Chilli con carne
Fresh fish stock, from 2kgs of black cod bones
I used up my frozen chicken thighs yesterday but this is bookmarked for the next batch. Thanks!
I serve the whole methi pieces roasted on top of a tomato based minced though curry mix with some heat. The contract is incredible… It’s a Vivek Singh inspired meal.
And now I’m looking this up.
Like this? Looks delicious.
Garam masala changed my whole mind about flavor and spice.
