Gluten free Rice crispy treats with a special kind of puffed rice we call VÄrgÄrda ris. Which was originally made in our neighbor town.
Gluten and dairy free apple pie and vanilla sauce
And for dinner Baked potato with Skagenröra (A kind of prawn salad thatâs used for Toast skagen among other things)
Healthy? Not really, but it sure was delicious.
I like how you think!
Marinaded lemon pepper chicken w/ cheddar potatoes and a lemon pepper pan sauce beside roasted green beans and carrots tossed in lemon butter and topped with fresh tomatoes.

Breaking the fast - lunch
Kind of odd breakfast for me but it was was already made. I kind of chuckled at âJack Danielâs Seasoned Steak Seasoningâ. I used to rep it. Despite the name, itâs a good one and itâs my last free one!
Whipped a shepherdâs pie for the kids.
Horseradish can you taste that Jené? @EarnIt
And ketchup
I almost bought horseradish today but was at a store without it in full, only sauce. I imagine I can grab some flavor. Due to my still tiny tastes, I am sure I will happily fry my mouth!
I have never had horseradish on my Shepherdâs. I bet itâs fantastic! HmmmâŠI need to go get some stuff tomorrow. If it was a tad healthier, Iâd eat it A LOT! Though, I do mixed veggie packs. AND no damn ketchup.
Dinner for my spouse.
1 roast beef sandwich and 1 garlic chicken sandwich on freshly baked sourdoughâgrilled. Fillings:
- lettuce
- tomato
- cheddar
- mild guac
- mayo / mustard
Ketchup in Shepherdâs pie?
I like that idea.
Over here we usually have ketchup for pasta Bolognese, pytt I panna (I think the English translation is hash, itâs cubed potatoes, onions and meat that you fry together)
And a few other things, never thought about having to for Shepherdâs pie.
Now I have to try that it looks really good
I came up with something new (to me) and itâs amazing! Iâm trying to use up some aging blueberries, so I microwaved them for 10 seconds at a time till they were warm and smashed them, spread it on bagel with crunchy natural peanut butter. Oh. My. God. So good.
That sounds delicious
I wish I had picked up bagels yesterday. I skipped them due to brand. Now, I wish I had! I wonder if itâs as great on a baguette.
Try it! I betcha it is.
