Italian soup made with real Italians. My husband’s joke tonight. With mild Italian sausage, potatoes, carrots, celery, garlic, tomatoes, kidney and great northern beans and Italian spices. Great after a chilly rainy day.
I may make this today. I have no sausage but will make it veggie or add chicken. Cold-ish today, not like yesterday!
Yum. It would be good either way. I’m planning my meals right now and I’m craving a pozole verde con pollo or a white chicken chili (which is funny because it’s green, not white ). Not sure which to make!

Alright people! You don’t see a plate this big lately from here. I faced a promise to myself, a sobriety group, and my kiddos, that I’d be much better about food. I ate it all. However, not until 10am. I plan to meal prep tomorrow.
Beautiful plate! We were twinning a bit this morning. I had a leftover grilled 8 oz NY strip and sautéed mushrooms/onions so we had steak and eggs. The leftover half potato was fried by my husband and it was a hearty meal ! We have a big day planned of housework so the energy is good. I wish I had a pretty tomato like you!

Is your gravy also GF? I really need to make it more. I love gravy but can’t do gluten, unless I choose to suffer a bit.
You can buy vegan gravy thats what I get I’m more than sure there’s glutton free gravy aswell
Fella and I cooked together. Smoked sausage, bell peppers, red onion and mushrooms in a garlicky sweet, sour and spicy sauce. Served on jasmine rice. Happy Saturday night.
Yes, I’m celiac with a milk protein and soy allergi so everything I cook is GF, free from milk and soy. That’s why some recipes and ingredients are vegan.
I eat meat but vegan products is guaranteed without milk protein, however not all of them are without soy.
Anyway I do the gravy by melting vegan butter in a pot, adding maizena starch or gluten free flour blend, blending it together adds oat cream and a bit of colorit blend again (I think it’s a Swedish brand, it’s basically gluten and sodium free soy) some GF broth powder when it’s all blended and then I let it boil until the texture is right. Sometimes you need to add more milk or a bit of water too.
