I am not growing much of a vegetable garden this year so I’m extra grateful for my reliable farm stand that’s open 7 days a week 8-1. The tomatoes are beautiful. Tomato sandwiches here I come!

Can I ask how you made the sauce? Sounds wonderful.
I just sautéed sliced mushrooms and crushed garlic in olive oil and then added sour cream, yellow mustard, bouillon powder and a spoonful of green peppercorns in brine. I learned the basic recipe from a French boyfriend and it can be tweaked in so many different ways.

I’m tired of sandwiches. Bread is problematic. I really should bake. I did it that from age 9 to 13 for money. Of course, gluten made it simple.
