Teen inspired and cooked dinner. They are free to choose any foods as long as they fit into the parameters
1 protein
1 vegetable (tonight I asked for there to be 2 types of veggies)
And 1 carbohydrate.
On days that we do desert, it’s almost always fruit based (of course sometimes there is cake or candy, because I want them to have a healthier relationship with food than I do…but I digress)
Here is what was decided by tonights chef in the making
Macaroni with Velveeta, salad, and bacon.
Looks delicious. Had to look up what halloumi was but need to learn something new everyday.

Its like a hard cheese which doesnt really melt when heated,its great charred like this its pretty salty so its good with something sweet, i also like putting a sticky balsamic dressing on it👍🏻

Aww Man, my first thought was a Bounty bar, because it looks like that.

We have Bounty here too, and it’s common so I changed too the peanut option
