I should have gone with my first guess then.
Bounty is common here too.
But we also have a “Swedish” version called
Co-Co, the chocolate in Co-Co is a bit different. But the idea is the same.
Co-Co is made by former Marabou which is now owned by Mondolez.
I think Bounty is owned by Unilever which is British.
I’ve heard about that one.
When I was a kid, before I because allergic to milk protein I used to buy Bounty bars as Saturday candy because I liked the wrapper so much.
Here in Sweden it’s common for kids to only get sweets and candy on Saturdays. It’s been that way since the 50’s, when it was a government campaign about it to avoid cavities on kids.
Even if it starts to change a bit now, when the discussion is changed more against the diet restrictions and possible obsession that comes with only having a limited amount of candy on a Designed day.
I just wanted to say I knew right away WITH NO GOOGLE that it is Bounty.
I love Bounty.
My son, when he was 4, got mini bounty from our neighbour and he was so happy. Until he tried it. He almost puked He literally said “how people can eat this?!” Oh boy, was I laughing. He hates coconut. And since then our neighbours too.
So mounds and almond joy are the same but one has nuts …used to be a great jingle back in the day …" Sometimes you feel like a nut and sometimes you don’t" .
I believe Bounty is name for or similar to mounds in Canada and places in Europe if I’m not mistaken.
Yes it’s cottage cheese. I learned a long time ago, at a place named “Crazy Otto’s” that cottage cheese is amazing in an omelet. Recently, I was “lazy” with adding spinach to my omelet and learned that it’s amazing as part of the base. I just start with the spinach and then add the eggs. I am pretty skilled.
And btw: Otto’s still has the bacon and avocado omelet but it now comes with your choice of cheese. A few years ago I asked them to bring it with cottage cheese, as the cheese, and they did. It used to be located in a train caboose.
-Maybe it’s my kiddo memory. I can’t find a pic of a caboose.
Thank you,ive got a ikea pretty close to me,im working the city on sat so ill go to the shop on the pic,ive found a few specialist sweet shops that ill try aswell
Just wanted to share… reading posts I find you have to pay to pee in Europe and candy only on Saturdays. No wonder we (USA) are a FFAATT country with horrible public restrooms.
In the UK we pay extra sugar tax on (sugary drinks) drinks in restaurants……I wish we had more of this stuff. Apparently our salt intake is relatively also low due to covert government missions with manufacturers of food. We didn’t even notice….
