What are you doing today?
Me is staying in bed/couch and sleeping mostly. Still flu. Still sick as fuck. Still annoyed.
Dog is bored, sleeps too, as cat does.

To top my misery, my favourite, old morning gown was shredded by my playful dog

I am still banged and bruised up but swelling is going down. The pain is more manageable and I did need to get a cane yesterday to help me walk. All good ..I’m heading in the right direction.
Today is my birthday. I am celebrating it by going to a haunted attraction. Hope to get to meet the man who played Michael Myers in Halloween kills. Very excited.
Yesterday I picked up keys to my apartment. A few years ago I rented out my house and moved in with my brother due to health issues. I am still working through them but feel I can be in my own again. Blessed that bil and sis are coming Saturday to help get me moved in.

Had an enjoyable 91st birthday celebration for my Dad last night. Could’ve burned down the restaurant with all those candles.
Heading to hospital shortly for the localizer placement…first step before next weeks surgery. Will be low key rest and icing for the balance of the day. Got some clean sheets on the bed. Maybe I will relax by the fire later with some kitties. Am on the lookout for some mint hot cocoa. That sounds like a nice treat.

Do rest up and take care of yourself - the placement of the localizer is a foreign object in your body and you will need the rest to help your body get used to it.
Fresh sheets, yummy mint cocoa and kitties while by the fire sound like a heavenly way to rest. You are doing it right my friend

Friday turned into a rest day for me. I was having a hard time getting out of bed so I rescheduled my coffee date with my sister and let myself sleep as long as I needed, which turned out to be about 15 hours.
Maybe it’s the swapped germs of air travel or the inevitable post-Thanksgiving respiratory virus spike but this body is tired.
I just took a bath so hot I’m surprised I still have skin and will eat all the snacks as I heal to Wes Anderson movies. First, the Phoenician Scheme, now The Darjeeling Limited. I work the weekend so the rest was needed. Hopefully Saturday finds me better, not worse.

I’m glad you took the time to rest. 15 hours means your body really needed it. Enjoy your movie night and I do hope tomorrow is better for you sending healing calming energy so you can rest and and rejuvenate

H @JazzyS not much progress with the stone 
but thankfully no fever yet. I’m a bit nervous as the obstruction is causing some hydronephrosis (swelling of kidney). I did see family doc and she put in an urgent referral to the urologist who did two of my three stone surgeries. That was Tuesday. Still waiting to hear. Hopefully this week! One day at a time
