Woke up to a work issue, seemed simple, nuh-uh. It snowballed into a major issue, perfect. So, we’ll see how that goes.
My wife is having her 7th and final interview RIGHT NOW for a sweet gig, fingers crossed.
I have a gym appointment later this afternoon. I’ve grown to really enjoy my time at the gym, I can see how people become gym rats (no offense); it’s almost addictive.
Tonight will be a quiet night at home. Home cooked dinner and the series finale of the current show we’re watching on Netflix.

I am trying to get back into a workout routine, but work and the weather keep getting in the way.

Been recovering from norovirus so ill be taking a rare sickday today. When I was drinking, I’d take 2 or 3 sick days a month. Now, maybe 2 a year.
@JazzyS - they sent my wife an email yesterday tnanking her for her time and they wanted to invite her for 4 more interviews with senior leadership! This means she is likely one of two candidates to make it this far. So now we wait, again.

My friday is over and was a bit chaotic as all of the week. Many many furry cuddles made my day. Just had to remove Missi from my knitting box, I want my scarf in there, not the cat or cat & scarf My lap is also fine though.
I had some good laughter today with my widowed friend, our bureaucracy is double horrible when run by idiots and she has to deal with some proper representatives of the subform “countryside special dumb edition”. Thank God I have decades of training in handling such situations, the revenge of the pissed citizen is knowledge and how to use it to drive THEM crazy
In talking with her, and reflecting on past experiences, it’s quite possible she’s the only candidate and meeting with senior leadership is the final step. We’ll see.
Yup, 11 interviews. Personally, I don’t mind the massive amount of interviews, especially if they are scheduled on the same day(s), I take issue when they give you homework.
There’s been 2 places I interviewed at where they gave me a project and it really felt I was solving an issue they were having. Did not land either of aforementioned jobs.
