  1. For yummy triple chocolate cookies from Lidl
  2. For my two wonderful kids.
  3. For the smell of the outdoors coming in on the clothes of the kids.
  4. For the spectacle of the leaves on the rowan trees outside turning bright red and orange.
  5. For meeting my new support worker for the first time today.

Today I’m grateful for

  1. Feeling much better after the previous weeks’ depressive episode.
  2. My step daughter coming to visit this afternoon.
  3. Having space in my home for a studio for my art.
  4. Having a tiny bit more motivation towards making the studio uncluttered and useable again.
  5. My regular yoga practice.

Sweet Sunday 10/29

Grateful I have the day off to spend time with the family today.
Grateful for the morning sun streaming through the living room blinds right now and warming my arthritic neck.
Grateful to turn the furnace on for the first time this year.
Grateful to focus on spiritual things this morning.
Grateful for journaling.

I am grateful to be sober.
I am grateful I have a roof over my head.
I am very grateful that I don’t work for the hotline taking all the complaints about f*** Abbott FSL3 sensors. I mean noone is ever satisfied who will call you there. Never.
I am grateful Wednesday is off.
I am grateful I feel slightly better after a workout and some warm dinner.

  5. I am grateful my body allows me to run. I don’t go far or often, but I truly love lacing up and hitting the pavement.

  1. i am grateful my wife’s gallbladder is out and she’s home and healthy now.
  2. I’m happy to have a great support system at home to support us with the kids.
  3. I’m thankful i can identify when i’m spiraling and use tools to help me push pass my issues.
  4. I’m thankful to have a flexible job that allows me to come and go at times when things get busy at home.
  5. Thankful to keep fighting for my sobriety, every single day.

Wednesday Grats 11/01

Grateful I made it 2 years sober now, with no relapses. :pray:
Grateful I have two days off in a row.
Grateful for delicious, homemade split pea soup :yum:.
Grateful to get some rest today. Yesterday was a bit brutal for me.
Grateful to be healthy and alive.
