Today I’m grateful x5 that my son who struggles with addiction seems to be doing much better! He turned 21 the other day and my husband had a recent birthday as well. Instead of hanging out in town this memorial day weekend him and his girlfriend came here to the woods to hang out with ole mom n dad. I know that thing’s can change in an instant but at this moment I’m feeling blessed! I’m never going to stop believing in him.

My daughter telling me twice in 24 hours that she loved me and squeezing me in a big hug while doing it

Stopping! I’ve been on a run putting my life back together this week, and when the weekend arrived I was exhausted. It’s all new stuff, new people, new projects, new places. Caught myself starting to spin and caught it. I don’t like stopping once I get some momentum. But stop. Just stop. It’s Saturday! Time to relax

My husband who works very hard running heavy equipment every day out in this heat to provide for our family.
My daughter was happy with her school clothes today.
My oldest son who struggles with addiction is still trying hard every day to overcome it.
My youngest son isn’t fighting me too hard about his school work. That I’m able to teach again this year.
My oldest daughter is a wonderful mother to my grandchildren.
I’m able to wear clothes that were too tight last year.
