Thank you

Gym to myself on a rainy Saturday morning! Starting my day clearing my head and prepping for my first town festival sober where I’d in past years participate in getting completely black out drunk! Today is day 48! Staying motivated and as always one day at a time!

Woke up at 6am for a walk. I’m not AM person, but I’m pushin myself. It’s pretty quiet being out here this early. Keep working hard everyone! Yall killing it!

Ran repeats on this hill this am.

On my run back, i was listening to a new sober podcast I found (seltzer squad!). Then I randomly saw a wild rose that my family uses at our nursery… i really felt my late dads presence at that moment. He was sober for my whole life and seeing that felt like him saying “good job honey” to me. Hope everyone has a great day :blue_heart::v:t3:

Stopped in mile 3 to get water off my porch but then picked it back up. Really happy with my pace, the way my body felt, just the whole run was perfect

That’s awesome Jenn! Days like that are great.

I was inspired by your thread the other day (Comparison is not your friend) about how being constructive and consistent and determined is a strong path to results. It was so nice to see the impact it’s had on you :innocent:

I felt that this morning when I got up and got going (after feeding the cats - best investment I ever made - the way they wake me up consistently at 6 am is more effective than any 5 alarms I ever had beside my bed). Today I did stretching and a short run (2.2 km, enough to get the blood going :innocent:).

It felt great! And it’s not even 6:45.

Very nice! I’m really happy I put my thoughts out there. I didn’t think so many people could relate. I guess that’s a thing when you are comparing. Always thinking others have it together and don’t have the same hurdles. (Same but different, you know what I mean lol) anyway, off to do a virtual! Have a great day

Wow :astonished: that’s impressive!!! I’m proud of you too!!

Made it to the gym this morning and did back and biceps along with HITT. Weighed myself this morning also and am down 2 lbs from my previous weigh in over a week ago. I’m happy with that. I just really need to keep my motivation up and to be consistent. I feel that’s where results happen, due to consistency. Am also doing 16/8 intermittent fasting. So I am currently drinking black tea until 10am. Seeing how this goes

Working back on sobriety day 402. Week 8 of 11 in the bulk. Currently up 9.7 lbs. I thought I was going to do 12 weeks, but I miscounted the calendar weeks leading into a vacation during which I won’t be focusing on calories hard or lifting at all so 11 it is. Stay consistent, friends.

Squat day for volume… did some other leg isolation work, back and bi work.

I won’t be winning any bikini competitions anytime soon but I’m alright at picking heavy shit up and opening jars .
