Day 17 completed on Day 18. Yesterday was an unexpected travel day.
Day 18 that 2:30 was pretty daunting but I did 45 seconds, then a minute, then the rest of the time
Day 18 done! Made it just past the 2 min 30 sec mark. That hurt!! Didn’t think I could do it, but now it’s done! Whew!!
Day 16 is done. Hit the 2 minute mark
I broke 2 mins, but maxed out around 2:15. But I’m not giving up! My breakthrough will come! (she writes from the floor, unable to get up…)
I felt those last words in my soul
Day 19 is a rest day!! So happy!!
Day 19 . Did not rest. It is a mental exercise now…
Day 17 is complete!
Day 20 finished. I worked my days back from the last rest day as I skipped these days. Now, I have to admit that indeeeeeeeeed it helps to do some increments but I feel some parallels to working : ohhhh, easy, looking at the timer still 2 more mins or 7hrs to go. Time for coffee/hot chocolate.
Totally got to reset, an abrupt work schedule change, plus life and regular gym work has totally threw me off.
I’m betting I’m the only one too,
Day 20 Not ideally, but in the middle of the night again! Killer insomnia brings out killer planking.
Day 20 done. I tried planking with straight arms today and it felt a bit different; I’m not sure if it improved my performance but it was nice to try! I did 2:30 punctuated with a few 2-3 second breaks in the last half
I decided today I’d use a song as my timer:
Day 20 is done! 10 days left!!!
I am bowing out. In light of the recent development of needing shoulder surgery. I’ll try again next January. I’m happy to have made it this far.
Hope your shoulder surgery goes well!!
Thank you I’m hoping for a speedy recovery. Everyone says it’s a hard surgery.
Day 18 is in the books! Rest day tomorrow!
You might need a friend to support you and bow out too, right?
Seriously, I hope your surgery goes well and you are new and improved in no time!
