Gone are the days of “go hard or go home!”

I’ve taken the last few days off planking - tea and my blankie to self-soothe some emotional turbulence. I sent you all  and light, though!

And lying on my back in bed is assuming at least half of the plank pose, yeah? :joy:

I hear you and understand 100%. Self care is the best!! I for one will be thrilled when this is over.

Yes!! Day 30 is done :heavy_check_mark: with a little downdog here and there today…and that’s a wrap for our 30 Day Plank Challenge for January 2021!! I hope you all ‘enjoyed’ it as much as I did (which after 3 minutes was not a lot).

For me, what’s next is restorative rest and perhaps a 2 minute plank every other day. I am also finishing up a 30 day meditation practice (Day 26 today). I am not generally motivated by such challenges, so pushing myself out of my comfort zone with the plank challenge once or twice a year is good for me.

Well done everyone!!

Awesome :confetti_ball: This was great. At the gym now. Hitting that plank shortly. Excellent way to keep motivated :muscle:

Thanks for the initiative @SassyRocks. I really appreciate it. It was not so difficult once I quit looking at the timer and doing something else instead :joy::timer_clock::pray::eyes:

Agreed! Once I found that reading made time move, it helped so much.

Thank the dear lord this is over. :joy:

Never made it much past 3:30. Gonna try to maintain 2 mins during my yoga sessions from now on. I used to do. Can do again.

Thanks All! Maybe we think about this again mid-year if things are, er, getting a little sloppy! :orange_heart:
