Whew, finally back at it! Got home from vaca and smacked in the face with a sinus/ear infection. On antibiotics now and ready to goooo :muscle::sweat_smile:

DAY 21 - REST DAY

I did yesterdays workout today as I didn’t do it yesterday. Starting to feel unwell but completed it before my body realises I’m getting sick.
Struggling with my mental health atm and exercise is the best therapy for me but it’s a delicate balancing act as I don’t want to get really sick. Taking it a day at a time x

Bec, one thing I like about this challenge is the number and spacing of rest days. I awoke later than planned yesterday, and my day at work was very full. I went for a 20 mile (32k) bike ride after work in heat and humidity. All to say I did not get the challenge done yesterday, but I will have time today and the rest day gives me the opportunity.

I do hope your physical state improves quickly. As for the rest, know that I think you’re pretty special. I admire your sober journey, your determination and dedication. You’re a fierce Mom and a caring friend. I look forward to seeing your posts pop up!

I also agree about the rest days. When I first found this challenge I was actually abit put off by the frequent rest days but it turns out, that it relieves the pressure and gives us some breathing space for when life just happens. Something to keep in mind when we research for the August Challenge :wink:

I’d say the burpee challenge first :ok_hand: at least with the July challenge it’s not timed so you can have a break without any penalties happening. Unlike in the burpee challenge :sweat_smile:

Day 22 :white_check_mark: switching it up with 20 squats and 24 lateral lunges. Split the crunches for 1/2 and 1/2 bird dogs cause ~~ BaLaNcE~~
