I love a rest day! Had a 16 mile bike ride, seemed like it was uphill halfway and the other half was uphill after that.
Full many a glorious morn I have seen
Flatter the mountain-tops with sovereign eye,
Kissing with golden face the meadows green,
Gilding pale streams with heavenly alchemy.
**William Shakespeare **, Sonnet 33
Day 19 with a 2.5 mile run on a perfect summer day.
Here’s flowers for you;
Hot lavender, mints, savoury, marjoram;
The marigold, that goes to bed wi’ the sun
And with him rises weeping:
these are flowers of middle summer, and I think they are given
To men of middle age. William Shakespeare, The Winter’s Tale
Rest day today, that’s an easy one to check off! I stacked wood for about 45 minutes, finishing up a rack I started on the last of the previous load. Got another cord delivered on Friday, and got a start on it.
I’ll be in Costa Rica for the next two weeks, but I hope to be able to continue the challenge!
Be patient, for the world is broad and wide. William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
