March Workout Challenge 🏋🏻‍♀️

:clap:t2: I have to stick to it, because I’m the organizer! But that’s actually a good thing, otherwise I would have dropped out already… I’m already checking for an April challenge. Any ideas or wishes?

Day 19 done. At the risk of sliding toward the political, I give you…

People used to complain that selling a president was like selling a bar of soap. But when you buy soap, at least you get the soap. In this campaign you just get two guys telling you they really value cleanliness.

Day 19 :ballot_box_with_check:- done with my warmup for a long run

Today I was lazy… I ended up a bit stressed out, because my washing machine stopped working. It’s only 3 years old! :exploding_head: The guarantee expires after 2 years… anyway, this doesn’t have to do much with me working out, and there are certainly worse things in life! But it kind of spoiled my good mood, because it means spending a lot of money for a change… I’ll catch up tomorrow, instead of doing the rest day!

Dang! That sucks about the washer. I could see how that would be a damper on your mood for sure. Hopefully tomorrow will be better

Day 13 done. I was reading Bernd Heinrich “Racing the clock” on the plane today. Here is a quote of his, from a different book.

“Every morning in Africa, an antelope wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion, or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest antelope, or it will starve. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a lion or an antelope—when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.”

I like this saying!
Are you back to day 13 because you like to run? I’m doing 21 today!

Probably just too much travel yesterday! I did day 20yesterday, and I will be making up day 17 today, so it gets even more confusing. :upside_down_face:

Missed day 22 to travel, day 23 done. My reality is that I’m tired these past few days.

I skipped a day, I’ve been painting my house-it’s SO good! I think I needed that extra day while I’m on vacation. I’ll likely add it to the end of the challenge instead of trying to double up.

I’m pleasantly surprised how much easier the push ups have become already-I really struggled with them at first and now I find myself doing a few extras. I didn’t see that coming, I think that’s my favorite thing so far doing this challenge. I’ve always hated push-ups and now I kinda like them…Weird but I’ll take it!
