I recently recommended the movie “Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot”. I didn’t think at the time there was any point giving a trigger warning for a movie all about recovery.
But, in light of recent conversation, I should warn everyone that there are a couple of sexually explicit moments. Apologies to anyone caught off-guard! :grimacing:

Watched this last weekend and enjoyed very much.

Watched My Octopus Teacher last night. Really enjoyed the documentary.

Watched Pieces of a Woman to keep up with best actor nominations, Venessa Kirby, for the Oscar’s

What did you think of it? I love Ellen Burstyn.

Ellen was great as the Mom.
The movie was ok. I probably wouldn’t have watched it except Vanessa Kirby was nominated for best actress. She did great!! Never heard of her. We like to know all the movies in the “Best” movie or actor category before we watch the Oscars. Only got 2 movies left to watch. Probably blow off the Borat movie. Not my cuppa tea for humor. Probably try and squeeze in United States vs Billy Holiday this week. The Academy awards are next Sunday.

Meh. Not a big Borat fan. But it was quite interesting :face_with_monocle:

Watch “Sneakers” with Robert Redford and Sidney Poitier. The only good hacker movie, inspired my interest in cryptography.

Speaking of codes, I re-watched “Under The Silver Lake”. It’s a cult classic. TW: graphic sex in one scene, some drug and alcohol use.

Stowaway

Total piece of shit.
The science is deeply flawed. The story is deeply flawed, and intensely boring.

This movie is remarkable. I typically don’t feel uncomfortable in films, ever. This movie kept me so focused on the screen. Just an absolute masterpiece in my eyes. The last time I was so into a suspenseful thriller was when the Grudge was released back in 2006(?)

I highly recommend anyone who likes intense suspenseful stories to watch this. It really is an amazing film.
