Agreed! I absolutely love Barry Keoghan as an actor and recently started to appreciate Jacob Elordi as well thanks to the recent Frankenstein movie!

I just watched this one as well. I was so fascinated by the lack of emotion that I had to look it up and apparently that is what adds to the horror, based on “Greek tragedy DNA”.
Definitely adds to the disturbing factor for me! Honestly I’m a big fan of most A24 films, there usually is an underlying tension that drives me up the wall, I love it.

WW2 film called Pressure is coming out this May, it doesnt look like there’s a proper movie poster for it yet. The trailer just dropped yesterday and can be found on YT. I like wartime movies a lot, so I’m actually interested in seeing this.
Gone in Sixty Seconds and True Grit come to mind for me 
I watched Apocalypse Now for the first time about a week ago and it was amazing. I know I will probably watch that movie again probably this weekend. It was terrifying at certain parts but obviously it should be like that. There was so many actors I recognized but not right away because they were all so young.

Fistful of dollars staring Clint Eastwood. I forgot about these spaghetti westerns directed by Sergio leone. I’m 15 minutes in and already know I’m going to love this movie and will probably watch the good the bad and the ugly next!! These movies really take me to a different time and I often think I would have done pretty good for myself if I was alive during these times. If they ever invent Time Machines I’m definitely going back to the Wild West days

The good the bad and the ugly is my all time favorite western! Also great Clint Eastwood westerns I love are for a few dollars more, pale rider and unforgiven. A non Clint Eastwood Western I also love watching is Silverado.
Thanks because there is a couple of those movies I have never seen so I’m going to watch them.. unforgiven and Silverado I have not seen. The good the bad and the ugly never gets old. Now I’m trying to think of other good westerns!
A few movies I have seen and liked non Clint Eastwood westerns (I do love the Clint Eastwood ones the best) are Magnificent Seven, Quick and the Dead, Tombstone, and I’ll also throw in a very funny but politically incorrect Blazing Saddles!
Watched this last night for family movie night. It was really entertaining! I recommend it, it’s on Netflix.
Some favorite westerns besides those already mentioned: Once Upon a Time in the West, Stagecoach, High Noon, The Searchers, The Gunfighter, 3:10 to Yuma, and My Darling Clementine.

Tonight I’m watching Field Of Dreams with Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones. I’ve seen it like 15 or 20 years ago but it’s really cool. Especially being a baseball fan and growing up playing

This was a good movie full of ups and downs! Emma Thompson and Judy Greer are amazing, and I love Marc Menchaca and I thought this was a great role for him!

My favorite baseball movies are Bull Durham (the funniest baseball movie by far), the original Bad News Bears with Walter Matthau, Ken Burns’s Baseball documentary, The Bingo-Long Traveling All-Stars and Motor Kings, 42, and Bang the Drum Slowly with Robert DeNiro and Michael Moriarty, whose grandfather George actually played for the Detriot Tigers and became a famous umpire. I know I’m missing a bunch. Baseball movies are a topic I know a little about.
