I’m watching Escape From Alcatraz tonight. I love jail or prison escape movies. I guess without realizing it I been on a Clint Eastwood marathon or something.. I seen it before and I know it’s worth watching again. Been watching a lot of my movies on YouTube. They have a lot actually that are good but you just have to deal with adds.

Try Burt Lancaster’s Brute Force, a terrific prison break movie with Hume Cronyn as the creepy warden.

Thanks for the suggestion! I usually watch a movie every night after all my obligations/ hobbies and chores are done. I will try to watch that tomorrow if I can find it. I think that actually might be on YouTube also so that’s cool

Juice ( 1992)
Crime drama about a group of friends that get involved with a robbery.
Tupac Shakur
Omar Epps

This was a great movie and honestly should been shown in highschool as a lesson to be careful who you surround yourself with and especially with dealing with peer pressure. But really for all ages like getting caught up in some bullshit you weren’t even trying to be dealing with. All it takes is one bad choice or impulsive move. Or being around the wrong people.

Tupac did a really great job with his acting and reminded me of a more like old school type actor.. really into his character, emotional and almost like method acting. I didn’t know that he went to school for acting and did a few movies before he even got involved with his music career. Acting was his first love artistically not music..

And with Omar Epps the only other thing I saw him in was on the hospital show House.

I recommend this movie and it won’t disappoint.

Have you ever seen jingle all the way? Is that related to this movie you posted?

28 Days Later: The Bone Temple. Oof, some of it was rough even for me a lover of the zombie / apocalypse / horror genre…but so it goes. I have long been an Alex Garland fan and this film reminded me why.

Ralph Fiennes dance as the devil = perfection. He commits.

The ending…gobsmacked, hopeful, tears, anticipation.

As with Stephen King, The Walking Dead and George Romero’s work, 28 Days Later asks and answers, who are the real monsters on earth. A simple truth…one side of the coin.

Some escapism. Watched Hoppers instead of some more complex movie.

Hulu

Watched the revenant last night for the second time and forgot how amazing that film is.. the acting, writing, editing, and different layers of story telling that all mesh together into one is unmatched. It’s an epic revenge story to say the least..

I realize I watched it last night because the last couple days I was feeling kind of defeated and then I saw that movie on Hulu and knew I needed that.

The movie is based off a true story about a fur trapper, and explorer named Hugh Glass. ( need to read more about him) I want to be careful to not explain to much or really at all because I don’t want to give exciting parts of the film away..

If you decide to watch I suggest when you will have no obligations or anyone bothering you.. there is parts where its slow or the film is building/ developing and also might need subtitles or really can easily miss important parts.. its 3 hours but one of the best films I’ve ever seen.. 5/5

PS: If I could go back to any time period it would be when they were first discovering the western part of the United States. just thinking about exploring and making your way and claiming your piece of the west is so cool and interesting. I would have been a savage back in those times.. in a good way if that’s possible. Maybe beast is the better word.. I like to believe I would have found a way to be friends with the native Americans or at-least be able to work together with them. Like you guys were here first so show me the way.. but also there was so many issues and probllems to consider for living back then.. to many harsh realities to list so I guess I’ll be grateful I was born in 1988 not 1888

Maybe Dances with Wolves is next even though Ive seen it like 5 times
