Day 7 completed, I ran in the daytime rather than the evening this time so perhaps being able to see helped me push on, I must remember to stretch @Cherry_Kisses !
Almost done @ShadowFax I think you deserve a very relaxing weekend after all this running!
I really enjoyed the challenge. Although I have sore muscles for 3 days, mentally and physically I am in great shape!
And yes @Alisa it really takes the cravings away and I am not focuses on NOT drinking all the time.
Last 10 days I was completely focused on the challenge. I have learnt that If I give myself a daily workout thinks are easier. This doesnt have to be a 5 k run but just something to focus on.
I am not sure what’s gone be the next challenge but some is coming soon. @Hazy I have never tried yoga but I will look into it an give it a try next sunday
thanks for all the support!
And @Jonesy good luck with your last 2 runs, or maybe you already did yours today… good luck with the last on! Sending you strength and courage
Got a 5k and a 4k in this week. Still a ways to go before I’ll be able to go 2 days in a row, or do one in under 45 minutes, but I’ll get there. Hopefully going to add some easy yoga today to stretch it all out.
One major observation for me is that since I’ve been running in the evening, after I’ve got back , showered and had dinner I’ve really not had the energy to even think about going to the store for booze, plus I’ve been sleeping better!
