This thread cracks me up each time I keep up! Thank you for this mostly coffee-based chitchat-thread with empathy and humor. I love it.
To add some coffee content. My stomach is very unhappy with coffee intake. Therefore I only have one or two per month, with lots of hot milk, a spoon of sugar and soooooo much joy 
I can only drink Kazaar and Livanto blends from Nespresso and my favourite blend Dallmayr prodomo.
I love my capsule machine because people visiting me can choose from a variety of blends I have at home. There are also Starbucks ones 
Itās comfortable as capsules donāt lose the flavour.

Pod machines are perfect for entertaining also if your not a daily drinker. I used to have 1 when they first came out and still drank hot coffee more often, the variety is nice.

@Scorpn I have heard more about these machines coming to Starbucks that will essentially make and pour the coffee. I have been using a lot of this great info you give me to sound a lot smarter than the average customer so thanks for that.
Will these automated machines affect the quality of the coffee?

It will make the Pike, Blonde and Dark Roasts and they will not need to be poured anymore.

Nah youāre not a snob. I also only drink black coffee not really from startbucks cuz I can also taste the paper cup but I get it. I just need the energy and/or taste all good on everything else lol.

Thatās how it feels to me. Especially on my recent drive to Florida and back. Every truck stop had amazing coffee that kept me going, the gas station ones were hit or missā¦ I think itās important that truckers have their caffeine so they donāt fall asleep at the wheel, so maybe they add extra grounds or i honestly donāt knowā¦
But i do love it.

Starbucks used to have clover machines, and are bringing them back (for now) but since 2007 Iāve never worked in a ācloverā storeā¦ I was always in a ānitroā storeā¦
I read an online article saying Starbucks will put a clover in all stores by 2025. So maybe my store will still have more of a waitā¦

The cold coffee the way @BLOODSHOTJOKER makes it has gone out the window. I canāt get all the ingredients in Sheffield without spending an arm and a leg. Iām going to scour the net for British versions of cold coffee and see if I fancy any, but, Iām not in a rush.

Its not for everybody I used to brew up 40 oz of columbian black, and let it sit in my thermos open til it was luke warm, then slam it like a beer, so the coldbrew suits me in that way. The ingredients list is long, lol I justify it because its about 2$ a coffee instead of 7$
