I donā€™t stir at all. I ā€œstirā€ using the force of the hot water as it lands in the coffee press, moving it as needed to make sure all the coffee gets well-mixed. Itā€™s not about the coffee itself, I do it because itā€™s fun, efficient (doing two jobs with the time and effort of one) and I have one less utensil to wash.

It always turns out well though. I think with a fresh, even grind (burr grinder, not blades) that hasnā€™t had the opportunity to settle, it doesnā€™t have the finer particles that would allow it to ā€œcakeā€ small lumps and resist mixing.

Is this one good? Or the first one I posted is better?
I wanna try it :sweat_smile:

No idea, this is the ground version. Maybe try Dalmayr whole beans. My other go to. But again, I believe you guys have good coffee over there too. :sweat_smile:

This made me lol

I drink Purity coffee, so I am a healthy coffee snobā€¦ nothing to be ashamed of.

I got my bialetti. And itā€™s so tiny. Smaller than a coffee mug. Haha not sure why i thought it would be biggerā€¦ maybe kettle sized? Lol. Or i bought the tiny version :sweat_smile: i just donā€™t know

Next to a fruit cup for size reference

Itā€™s cute!
It says up there on your orderā€”>
1 cup ( espresso)
2 ounces / 60 ml
In the old days espresso was served in little tiny espresso cups.
My Bialetti Kitty says ā€œ6 cupsā€ā€¦ itā€™ fills about two regular size coffee cups

Hahaha youā€™re right. I didnā€™t notice. :sweat_smile::sweat_smile:

I made 3 batches and filled my cup 1/3 of the way. Guess thatā€™s enough anyway with me trying to cut down :relaxed:

Youā€™ve got a cute keychain ornament there.

:rofl::rofl: pretty much

I guess i shouldnā€™t have been so cheap. :sweat_smile:
I got the one that cost $35
Should have went with the $90 one :crazy_face:

Oh well itā€™s a nice little thing. I had to remove my stove top grates to use itā€¦ because it was too small to sit on top haha.
Goes to show, reading is fundamental kids :rofl::rofl:

On the plus side, the coffee was really good :blush::blush:

Give it to your little one as a toy!

Yay! That is the important part! Was hoping you would like it! Plus you have a little portion controlled pot now and if you feel like making three batches then fineā€¦ xoxo Happy almost three months!

THANK YOU! :two_hearts::two_hearts: Im looking forward to it! At two months I stayed up till close to 2am to see it happen, but i have work at 6, so i think Iā€™ll try to make myself go to bed, and see it in the morning :blush:

@Scorpn I went to Starbucks today and asked all these questions about Dark Roast blends. It appears I need to go in the AM when Dark Roast is regularly available like you said. Trouble is I typically make my own coffee in the AM and get Starbucks in the PM. I will just have to go in the morning once this week I guessā€¦

That asideā€¦Is there any question I can ask the staff when I walk in that like only an employee and not a customer should know? I want them to wonder how I am so Starbucks savvy and mistify themā€¦

Anyone with a black apron on is a coffee master and will have had to do a coffee tasting with higher-ups for each kind of coffee. Complete with what food /flavors compliment the coffee.

You can ask if they have been to the roastery/pikes place in Seattle.
Little random things like that.

Pike pairs well with cinnamon coffee cake
Guatemala pairs well with chocolate croissant
The blonde Christmas blend pairs well with lemon loaf

Thereā€™s more ā€¦but i have been up too long without much sleep. :sweat_smile: Iā€™ll rattle off some coffee facts tomorrow from the coffee master book that i left at work. Thatā€™ll make em think you know too much to be a regular customer :grin:
