Neighborhood Coffeehouse Gos-Sipping

Technically…every company owned store is supposed to offer blonde and dark roast coffees as a pour over after 11. But not all coffees are good with the pour over… most aren’t truthfully…

YES!

‘Hello. I would like to speak with the coffee master on staff about which breakfast item best compliments the available morning dark roast? Oh and is this recommendation based on your tasting experience at the Seattle Roastery?’

Some haven’t gone to the roastery, but all have had to do their coffee tastings with their store manager or district manager

I’ll be at work in about 12 hours. But tomorrow is first day back to school for my kids. So I’m gonna turn in. Hope you have a good night. I’ll post some coffee facts tomorrow from the coffee passport

I’m going to go into my local Starbucks and ask for the lemon loaf and pour over Christmas blend. I will tell them that I’m doing that because I was told that if I drink the pour over Christmas blend with it, it will take all calories out of the Lemon Loaf.

What is pour over? Is that the way it is brewed? Guess I am a non-snob!

Hehehehe i love that :joy: and wish it were true!

It really is good together (to me) because the citrus in the lemon loaf brings out the citrus in the coffee. And it’s not bitter. Mmm. I think I’ll have this when I go to work

It’s like a little cup to hold a filter that you place over the mug you want your coffee in. It’s convenient if you want a single cup and are camping maybe, or if the lights went out or you need an electric free way to brew. You just pour the water in it and it brews into your cup

Lavazza is fantastic. They have it on flights to Italy and always look forward to a good brew once the plane is in the sky.

Lavazza is sold in supermarkets here, which is good, because I hate flying.

:flushed::flushed: not even the stores manager??? How? Jeez. My store has 3. And 2 more in training… That’s wild to me!

Is this a company location? Or a licensed store? I haven’t seen a store with 0 coffee masters on staff!

Just opened a fresh big bag of Lavazza beans five min ago. Nothing like it. A small (brown, fragrant) reason to thank HP, be grateful and quiet. :raised_hands::sweat_smile:

I might have to stop asking questions there entirely because when I asked to speak to the Coffee Master who wears the black apron the staff stopped for a second and all looked at me like…‘Who the @#$% is this guy???’:thinking::thinking::thinking:

Hahaha. They might have thought you were a new DM :joy::joy:
