Our martial arts school issues challenges to our little kid students. This month is nutrition. The lead kid instructor challenged them to drink only water for a week, last week. Today, in front of the classā¦

Blonde has the most caffeine ?
Yes. At least within Starbucks coffees.
I have heard some other brands say the caffeine isnāt affected when roastingā¦ But i donāt see how.
It made sense to me when I learned that the caffeine was essentially cooked out over timeā¦
Like when cooking with wine. If you add it at the beginning, all the alcohol cooks out, but if you add after cooking or near the end, there will still be alcohol.

Thank you very much for clearing that up for me, the stuff Iām currently drinking is dark roast and just isnāt doing what coffees meant to do

Iām on the opposite end of this spectrum 
i always have blonde, and it does work. But Iām addicted to itā¦and Iām trying to cut it down. Itās so hard yāall. Especially since i conduct coffee tastings with staff and customers weekly and also LOVE coffee and espresso

I am still wallowing in self pity that my closest Starbucks does not have a CoffeeMaster. Do you know any coping skills?

I think you should go to a different Starbucks in the area and see if anyone has a black apron
They have had to be employed for at least a year, and know more about most things that the company has to offer. Maybe they will surprise you, and youāll find a new favorite from one of their suggestions 
There is another one pretty close. I will just have to wear my heart upon my sleeve in the meantimeā¦

I finally made it to Starbucks in the morning time and got a Thanksgiving Blend Dark Roast. It didnāt have the Dark Roast kick I like. Hopefully another type is bolder. All of these letdowns Miss Scorpionā¦Whatever am I to do?

Lol just kiddingā¦ Years ago the rule was, you could request any bag on the wall for a pour overā¦
But unless you come every day, most of the bag goes to wasteā¦ So Iām not sure itās still in practice. I will check tomorrow. I will do it, but donāt want to tell you thatās the rule if itās not anymore.
I think if you want the stronger flavor, an Americano is good. Or one of the darker roastsā¦
I have always prefered burnettes cause they tend to have higher IQs but I am always open to trying new things.
