November workout challenge

Day 9 :ballot_box_with_check:- done on lunch break. Got a 2.5 mile run this morning but I’m gonna send my new shoes back cause they aren’t working for me. Not sure why since they are the same model as my others

Y’all I forgot about the challenge over the weekend while I was at my sisters for 3 days :see_no_evil: I remembered to do my pt and strength and we walked around the city a bunch but I completely forgot to add in the challenge.

Slowly getting caught up and done through day 8 now.

Day 10 done (forgot to post earlier) and I think I forgot to post yesterday also

Our muay thai club are now offering a parents/members boxing fitness class twice a week which is on at the same time that my kids are training so that has been awesome fun - high intensity circuit training - I much prefer this ‘individual’ style of training than partner work lol. I’m so anti people :see_no_evil::woman_facepalming::roll_eyes:

I honestly was thinking about it! The thing is… It’s soooo hard to explain things just through text message. There are soooo many great exercises that don’t need any equipment but are a little more complicated to explain as opposed to just " squats, push-ups, sit ups etc" which is why you’ll see a lot of these “cookie cutter” workouts including these well known, yet overused exorcises.
Let me see what I can do for December😊. Maybe there"s a way to keep it simple and still provide a more balance workout “challenge”. Or at least give some tips like I did by adding the back exercise. The seated band row is honestly one of the best exercises to do. You can get a lot of different resistances. The other tip- rest days are just as important and you should not work the same muscle groups two days in a row.
Also 75 repetions of an exercises is really excessive. It makes me cringe. My neice did this stupid 100 squats day challenge and she ended up completely wrecking her knee. She’s only on her 20’s. I just don’t know who comes up with these ideas🤯

Thanks for the input. I am a PT. In general we tried different types of excercises. We stress each month that we are no experts, don’t have a intention to make a full body workout, cannot include individual health issues or equipment status. But we are looking forward to new agendas. :upside_down_face:

Day 10 :ballot_box_with_check:- after work. I’m off to take a nap. Was up and down last night taking the Fox outside cause he has an upset tummy. He has gotten some food and water down today so I think he is on the mend but he had some serious diarrhea yesterday

Nice! I have the hardest time getting out for a run in the cold. I have a run planned tomorrow and it’s suppose to be in the low 30s :cold_face:

I like it, as long as it’s not windy. Today was kinda fun. But, I don’t know if I’m quite ready for the 6-month long ice box that apparently started this week!
