November workout challenge

We had the change of the time one hour back in Spain last weekend, now it gets dark at 5:30… how depressing is that?!? :exploding_head:

Day 8 done! :call_me_hand:t2::white_check_mark: changed the triceps dips for push-up!

Day 8 :white_check_mark:. I did standard squats. Now off to the pool for a mile swim.

Though this be madness, yet there is method in 't.

Day 9 done! :white_check_mark: Went to the gym as well, 40 minute cardio session + some strength workout. Unfortunately I have been smoking until not too long ago, and I can definitely feel that… :persevere: But things are already getter better! Baby steps!

Things will get better. I started smoking when I was 13 and smoked for 20 years. This December will be 3 years smoke free :confetti_ball:
It took a while to be able breathe when working out and I still have to slow down sometimes.
Yay for you for quitting!!! Best decision hands down

Thanks so much, I’ve quit a lot of things lately!:see_no_evil: But yes, even though it’s only been 9 days, I can feel a difference already. I am so decided this time. No going back to old drinking and smoking habits! Congratulations on those 3 years! I did 5 years once, so I know I can do it!

@ShesGotMoxie , Carolyn, are you able to adapt and keep participating? One reason I like the variety of tasks for this challenge is that i can work different muscle groups and take care of my sore knees and hips at the same time. I hope you are okay physically and spiritually.

Day 10 :heavy_check_mark: Did squats instead of tri dips cause my arm isn’t having it

Day 10 done! :white_check_mark: Also did a functional workout at the gym, didn’t skip one single muscle group!

I’m still participating, but I’m not able to do anything with my knee. I had a nasty knee injury years ago, and I usually baby it. I didn’t do that for the first few days of this routine, and I’m paying for it now. I can do the push-ups, sit-ups, planks, and Russian twists, so I’m subbing those for other moves I’m not able to do. I’m still moving! Thanks for checking in.
