Glad you got to see those places thanks for posting the pics. The last one on the road there gives a good perspective of what it can be like to drive on some of those high mountain roads…kinda like you are about to drive off the edge of the earth!

I got my journal, lunchbox and a crochet project in this lovely park.

Some local kids have had a bird project. So adorable! Put a big smile on my face

They had come up with their own birds. One that descriptions said:

Bird name: Tiksu (= Pecky)
Wings are blue and yellow, otherwise the bird is pink.
Can’t be found in Finland, only ever seen in Canada.
A city bird. Nests on birch trees and birdhouses.
Lays only one egg in June.
Eats worms and scorpions!
Size: 3cm tall, weighs 2 grammes
Call: ööö ööö ööö ööö ööö
