Tonight’s northern lights in the East of the UK, never seen in my 52 years and probably never see again.
Wow! You’re lucky to have gotten to experience that beauty.
Wow!!! Amazing!!
These are both so amazing! Great pics @Tragicfarinelli @Dolse71 WOW – thanks for sharing.
There’s a geo magnetic going on!
Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!?
Should be able to see it right now in most States… It’s level 8.33 at the moment, which is HIGH.
GET OUT THERE AMERICANS!
My first time ever seeing them! We took a drive out to the country where there was less light pollution and it was magical. More faint in person than these long exposure photos but to see them move and shift was neat. I’m glad we went. Back home, closer to the city, we we see them faintly like light streaks but not much.
And here in the Netherlands we had the opportunity to wath the Northern light too!
Going to watch again tonight after the Eurovision songcontest. They say we have a chance to see it again tonight!
They are catching fire in Canada!
Watching them shift and twirl is mesmerizing. I dont want to go to bed.
Thr view from my couch isnt bad.
Wowzers!!
Thanks for posting this you guys. Those are all some incredible shots.

I’ve never seen anything like that before.
I’ve heard about it like on the news. But when I see you guys posting them it and everything else just seems more real.
I’ve heard about the aurora borealis is this it? Or is this some strange solar storm everyone up north is seeing?
So cool. Thanks for sharing.
Move over. I’m on my way
It’s the same thing Eric:
Here in Northern California you could see the lights last night. Daughter shared photos. Tonight they say can see too. Definitely going out tonight.
Northern lights even displaying as far south as central Texas, US. 30.7 degrees N latitude! Very subtle. Captured by a neighbor last night via cell phone. Not able to see with naked eye. Will try to look tonight but overcast is moving in…we’ll see
You just never know what you will find when you open your bedroom curtains in the morning!
A peeping Tom!!
