I have a bird feeder outside the living room window. And the table underneath to the side.

I watched a bird with a bad leg land on the table and i would suppose his life partner was with him. And he just sat there. Staring at the bird feeder.
The most beautiful thing happened. The healthier bird was taking food to the injured bird

Winter found a European Harvestman that is missing 2 legs. Poor guy. Did you know that they aren’t spiders & only have 2 eyes?

I posted this Sago Palm last February because I thought it looked pretty strange on the top inside. I didn’t know what was going on inside there.

Here’s a pic from today. Same Sago Palm. Look at all the growth from the middle. The desert never ceases to amaze me.
