Ha. A California burrito has…
-Carne Asada (seasoned strips of steak)
-Pico De Gayo (a mix of onion, diced tomato And cilantro l)
-sour cream
-and yes, FRENCH FRIES!
It’s epic! We just moved to a different state and we just now found a taco shop that has a real Cali Burrito

There was a little place in downtown San Diego that used hashbrowns. That was pretty good too.
I have also had tater tots and seasoned fries.

Actually, the seasoned fries/browns might be solid.
Burritos always struck me as big, bland carb roll ups. Beans or taters. I’m saying, a good taco is where it’s at.

Yes potatoes in a burrito seem pretty common here. I’m not sure how authentic it is or if it’s just a Mexican-American thing.
I know potatoes in tacos is a common thing too, Tacos de Papa

Carbohydrate mixes are fine. In UK we eat crisp (potato chip) sandwiches. And potato and mayo is yummy on pizza in Japan.
