It will feel good to get that looked at :innocent:

If you post on this running thread I bet there are a bunch of people who will have some tips - there’s an active community of runners and run/walk folks here:

Here are some tips and tricks

Last time I tripped I realized I wasn’t picking up my feet enough and I wasn’t paying enough attention to my surroundings. I tripped over a massive break in the sidewalk. Had a gnarly scrapped knee and a ruined pair of leggings.

Running is a struggle lately. After that last flu my endurance is so low… I hope I will get over it soon.

Stats doesn’t look bad but boy oh boy, my body doesn’t feel how it was before :frowning:

Run/walk situation

Well, my calf/knee/hamstring situation seems to not be healing as fast as I would like. I get to about two miles and it just gives out. Friday was the last time I ran. So, I decided to quit testing it and rest up until the half marathon on Saturday. This will be interesting. Smart? Not at all. But, hey, that’s how I roll.

In the hotel. Massaging my leg

Hope to do a pace about 3 minutes/mile slower than I normally do a half marathon in. The goal is to finish under the time limit so I get the medal and extend the streak. Oh, and also to not mess myself up too bad!

Sending good running vibes your way @Gorden dont push yourself too hard in the beginning

Thanks! That’s the plan. Gonna have to fight the ego a bit on this. But, I’m actually looking forward to a nice, easy pace. I try for a PR every time I do a race so I’m going to enjoy not having that stress. Looks like it will be pushing 60 tomorrow, so that’s nice. I’m grateful to be able to do these things. And hey, another weekend of not drinking!

It took the whole first workout for me to get warm :cold_face: Had to break out fleece, gloves, long sleeve and vest. 33F but with winds to make feel like 19F. I had a great time though :woman_shrugging:t2:

Running in the cold is an extreme sport in my mind. Good for you @Runningfree

Facts lol Honestly once I turned the corner and the headwind wasn’t hitting me it really wasn’t that bad. I enjoy cold running but not when we have 20mph gusts

My endurance has definitely taken a hit. Walked between the intervals and pretty sure I went out too fast. That’s alright though, no where but up to go from here

First and last run of the year. Sometimes you can run away or around the problems for a while :see_no_evil::zipper_mouth_face:

Always enjoy running through some of my childhood and university memories.
