Show the artist within you (Part 2)

I love streetart. Whenever I get to visit a new city I try to get a feeling for it by the streetart I find there.

So Iā€™ve started painting a new picture by numbers! Right now thereā€™s not much to seeā€¦:see_no_evil::rofl: But if everything goes well, it will end up being a Buddha. Also it says you should start on the topā€¦ and yesā€¦ as you can see Jenny had to start at the bottom, must be some kind of OCDā€¦ (donā€™t do as youā€™re told)

Hereā€™s a pic of the one I finished at the beginning of this year:

Love itā€¦ looking forward to seeing it completed :blush:ā€¦I think I would have started from the bottom too.

Iā€™ll keep adding the process, once thereā€™s more to see than some bad drawn lines! Itā€™s more comfortable from the bottom, but it makes sense to start on the top (your not touching the paint with your arm while your progress) Donā€™t knowā€¦ :woman_shrugging:

Iā€™m also a paint by numbers fan. Its the fun of painting without the stress of being creative!

Thatā€™s a cool one too, I like the bright colors! The one Iā€™m doing now is not my favorite because the colors are all very similar, but Iā€™ll get it finished. And then I already have the next one in my Amazon shopping basket! :see_no_evil:

I started a wood whittling project, and Iā€™m almost pleased with the results.

It was much harder than the promise that the knife would glide through the Basswood like it was butterā€¦ermā€¦ Frozen in the Arctic butter???

Many cuts and bruises later (I then got knife safe gloves). The bird is formed. Iā€™m happy with it but I think I can improve.

A very enjoyable though difficult whittle. Looking forward to taking it camping for some natural wood carves. Thereā€™s some nice ideas out there on the WWW.
