She wasn’t there, but she’s made the subs bench for mid week champions League. Her ACL recovery has been LONG.

What a win, not perfect by any means but, considering he couldn’t buy a start last season, he faired very well given the multiple restarts and weather conditions.

Favorite team? I grew up with the Astros. But I studied baseball history, so I can find a reason to like most teams.

Oakland A’s but I think they are called only A’s while they play out of Sacramento this year. I was a Giants fan until I met my husband 10 years ago and had to convert to the Green and Gold. We had season tickets until our move further North 5 years ago. We follow mostly American League but I keep up on the stats from all teams. I like to be able to “talk baseball” and act like I know what I am talking about if ever in a social circle.

It sucks what Fisher did to them. They’ll always be the Oakland A’s (or the Philadelphia A’s) to me. Since childhood, I have had a fondness for the Giants, especially in their early NY days.

Since being an Oakland A’s fan I always said the fans were the best. Went to many a game where we lost but leaving the stadium everyone was happy. Last few years the attendees were faithful and just loved being there. Attended many Giants game only to feel the angst with a loss. Even wins the fans were upset over a call or a bad play.

I’ve always been a Blue Jays fan. When I moved to Arizona, I adopted the Diamondbacks as my NL team - but ultimately ended up following them more closely. So I consider the Dbacks as my primary team now but the Jays are still my AL team.
The Padres are always broadcast on tv here as well, and so I have also developed an interest in them, watch them regularly.

Just in time for opening day.
Managed to find a stitched Majestic throwback online, you don’t see the full purple ones with the gold numbers often at all.
Patches got folded up a bit in the mail but will flatten out.
Feeling this and seeing it is a harsh reminder how cheap and tacky jerseys have become over the last 5 years or so. The quality of this is so much better than another jersey I got 2 years back. Pity that MLB opted to work with Fanatics/Nike and ceased their partnership w/ Majestic.

Happy Opening Day to all who celebrate. I miss the days when Cinci as the first pro club (1869) had the honor of playing the first game every year. The Astros and Reds are ahead right now, so I’m going to stop watching.

I am here to celebrate. Ohtani just hit another home run. Dodgers are the enemy but love all baseball has to offer. As and Mariners on the schedule for tonight. Good meal and baseball
